Atlas Telecom Mobile Case Studies

::: Client: BRAIN BATTLE (interactive TV program)

Application used: A new interface was developed in order to gather all participations (by phone, SMS and web) in a single dash board.

Objective: The producer of Brain Battle wanted to run an interactive TV show where the viewers could call in or text to participate live.

Description: ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE programmed the IVR and SMS facilities to receive calls and text from participants, as well as developed a web interface which shows all participation so that the producer could draw candidates that would participate live. The interface also included real time statistics on the number of calls and SMS's to measure the call-to-action efficiency.

Results: Hundreds of thousands of participation. The show was broadcasted Monday to Friday for a total of 70 weeks.

::: Client: CKOI (RADIO STATION)

Application used: ADAMS PLATFORM

Objective: CKOI wanted to offer exclusive content for personalization of cellular phones.

Description: ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE developed web pages including content such as ring tones, logos, animated logos, voice mail greetings using the well known radio's anchors. Atlas also set up the payment method and the delivery process, and managed the customer care.

Results: Downloads of a few hundred items occurred in just the first month of operation.

::: Client: Al Hawa Sawa (TV reality show broadcasted in the Middle East)

Application used: Tailor made solutions adapted to the client' specific needs

Objective: The producer of the show wanted to allow viewers to vote and interact with the participants.

Description: ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE had to find SMS aggregators and premium number providers for both text messages and voice services in 18 countries, and then interconnect with each of them. ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE created the application for the voting and the live broadcast results, as well as the back office interface. ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE set up the interface to show text messages sent by viewers on the TV screen, text messages could be either English or Arabic.

Results: Several thousands of votes and messages were received during each show.

::: Client: Stardoll (virtual world and community)

Application used: SMS KAMBI

Objective: Offer alternative payment solutions to teens wanting to buy stardollars (to buy virtual clothes, make up, broadcasted messages and other items)

Description: Stardoll integrated the SMS KAMBI solution in its site. The user was to send a keywords to the indicated short code from their cellular to obtain a code; they then entered the code on the web site and obtained star dollars. These dollars could be spent on the item of their choice. The user is billed on their cell phone invoice and a portion of the amount is paid by ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE to Stardoll.

Results: Substantial increased revenue for the web site.

::: Client: KITCO (Real time info on metals)

Application used: Cellstrategy adaptation

Objective: Offer real time information to KITCO members about the price of gold and various precious metals.

Description: KITCO members can register on KITCO's website to select the precious metal for which they want to receive information and the time of the day they want to receive them. Every time KITCO gets an update on the price, the information fills the Database created by ATLAS TELECOM MOBILE and a text message is sent to members according to the criteria they chose.

Results: After a 6 week test period, KITCO offered the features permanently to its members.
